What is the difference between Investment life Insurance and Life risk insurance?
What are the products included under the category Investment life Insurance and Life risk insurance?
I think you have the terminology wrong on this. Life insurance isn't considered an investment unless it's a variable life policy and your monthly premiums go into mutual funds. Term and whole life are not considered investments and these policies are more popular mainly because they are more affordable.
I think what you mean by "life risk" insurance is an accidental death policy. The difference between this and a variable life insurance policy is the former pays out the benefit only in the even of an accidental death and the premiums are typically very low. Variable life policies pay out the death benefit regardless after 2 years (suicide clause) and the death benefit increases over time (appreciation on the mutual funds).
